DIY Shower Series: Flyer Candy Bar Wrappers

By  • 4 years ago with no replies yet
In our second DIY Shower Series, we’ll cover how to add an extra touch to a baby shower favor by making a personalized wrapped candy bar wrapper.
Everyone loves chocolate, so send your guests off with something that’s thoughtful and extra sweet.
Unknown-1
Supplies:
  1. FLYER STICKERS      --  CLICK LINK
  2. Scissors
  3. Double-sided tape
  4. 1.55 oz candy bars
When choosing your design, feel free to play around with the text in the nutritional facts. Add personality and humor to the favor, while tying the theme to your shower.
Unknown-2
Step 1: Purchase your flyer with your personalized text and image. Note flyers come in a pack of 25, so you’ll need to adjust the amount to your party size.
Step 2: Cut along the lines of the wrapper until you have the amount you’ll need for all of your guests.
Step 3: Center the main image of your flyer to the top of the candy bar. Once centered, flip the candy bar over and fold the small side of the flyer to the back, making a crease. Then, take about an inch of double-sided tape and apply to the back of the wrapper.
Step 4: Fold the longer side over and press to seal. You’re done!

March is National Craft Month! We’ll cover how to make bridal shower hors d’oeuvre flags in this first post for our Do It Yourself Wedding Series.
No bridal shower is complete without delectable hors d’oeuvres. If you’re helping the bride host the bridal shower, why not dress up the perfect finger food with some party flair? There’s a good chance she’s overwhelmed with details, so show her how you care by creatively adding a custom touch to the presentation.

Supplies needed:
  1. Stickers
  2. Toothpicks
  3. Your fun finger food of choice

Step 1: Place one sticker sticky side up on a clean surface.
Step 2: Place the toothpick on the adhesive side of the sticker. (Placement is up to you — if you want it to look like a flag, place the toothpick on either end of the sticker).
Step 3: Make a toothpick sandwich! Apply the second sticker onto the first sticker (adhesive sides together), making sure the sides are aligned.

Place each finished toothpick adornment on the appetizers, preferably on a matching plate. You’re done!
